Your Team

Here are the amazing team of coaches we have especially for the children of Exeter!

Lead Coach - Glenn

I started playing rugby at the age of 4 at my local club Sidmouth. I played all the way through the age groups up to u16s. I went on to study sport at Exeter College alongside playing for the college rugby team where I kick the winning conversion in the final of the daily mail cup at Twickenham to become the first ever state college to win the competition. I have played for the Cornish All Blacks, Torquay and been a player coach at Honiton RFC and currently in my 4th season as player coach at Withycombe RFC.

I have been coaching for the last 9 years where by I've been involved coaching all forms of the game from tag, 7s, 15s, girls, boys and seniors. I am currently a level 3 qualified full time rugby coach at Exeter College working with Exeter Chiefs.

For the past 4 years I have been working for RFU on a part time basis as a Rugby Educator coaching the next crop of coaches on the RFU level 1/2 courses.

Personally I hope that everyone who comes into exeter will be able to share the passion and enjoyment that comes with rugby. I have been involved with it for over 26 years and still love every bit it. The friends I have made from rugby over the years will last a life time.

Assistant Coach - Sarah

I started playing rugby when I was 11, when the girls team was set up at my local club of Crediton. During my time at the club we have so far become south west champions, reached the national final and I have made the Devon squad for 3 seasons, playing scrum half. I have also been an assistant coach to the younger ages groups at both my school and club for 2 years as a part of volunteering for DofE; I am continuing this with little ruckers for the completion of gold. Additionally, I have recently worked closely along side the premiership to promote rugby for all, with a focus on women's rugby, which I hope to continue through little ruckers sharing not only this but also the values and enjoyment of the game.

Assistant Coach - Jack

Assistant Coach - Holly

I started playing rugby in 2010 at Newton Abbot, where I was dragged along to training(sports phobe) and instantly loved it. Played 1 season at second before being moved into the front row for my second season. I moved to Exeter and took a season out to have a baby, he was born May 2013, I was back in kit and on the pitch by September 2013. 2014/15 season saw me make the move to Exonian Ladies at Topsham RFC who were(and still are) a new and developing team. After a very successful first season, we moved into the league. Like most props, I'm secretly a winger but until that day comes, I'm happy in the scrum. Having my son made me realise that I want to be involved with something that will not only help him have fun and make friends but also interest myself to, that's when I found Little Ruckers and I couldn't be happier.
